I decided to stick to whey protein but is there something, not creatine, that is healthy for a 14 year old? I have been working out for six monthes now. So anything that will help with this would help. I am 5'10 135. Any food suggestions? Anything you can tell me will be appreciated. I am a pitcher and trying to get some more strengh.

At this point he should be getting his vitamins and minerals through food sources. I would give him a flintstone chew or something if you are worried that he is not getting his necessary daily value. Supplements are meant to supplement the diet and not be a replacement for natural food sources. Whey protein is fine, make sure he is drinking plenty of water to flush the toxins out of his body. Chicken, pasta, fruits/vegetables and milk should make him grow like a weed. Plus, they taste pretty good. He can ingest a little more fat at this stage because it will aid in natural testosterone production. If you take care of simple dietary needs the rest will follow. He should wait until his 18th to seriously start worrying about supplementation.

If you are working out you should be eating a balanced diet of protein, carbs and vitamins anyway. There should be no need to take nutritional supplements if you are eating sensibly.

AND certainly do NOT take any steroids or other bulking drugs.
