scorpios, jealous?

Question

Hiya, just wondering for pure curiosity what traits other scorpios have? Have heard that they are unbearably jealous-which sums me up and im a scorpio! Im terrible, my bf just has to mention another female and im growling..its awful, but I make myself laugh with my pure stupidity! Is it just me, or do other scorpios act the same? Or what other symbolic trait do you have?

All the answers so far are really interesting and those that say astrology is rubbish (like I use to) should read on! I started to believe that astro stuff is significant as apparently the only sign that can deal with Scorpios are Pisces and all my long term relationships (and the current one) have been with Pisces..hmmmnn..The fact that some people have mentioned that Scorpios hold grudges is so true of me too, I still resent people from primary school age 12, now im 22-yes I know, should really get over it-but cant! Also can never not win an arguement-am always right and wont back down! But im a nice person really..hehe

The less-happy someone is, the more they are likely to be jealous of anyone else. This is not a trait of zodiac signs. Although Scorpio is the sign of intensity, so whatever a Sun-in-Scorpio person feels (whether it is jealousy or non-jealousy) they never do it just half-way. You will notice it more in a Scorpio than you would if some other sign felt that way too. Scorpio (Water) has totally different priorities from a Libra (Air). They don't want what Libra wants and they don't want to be like Libra either. Unless, of course, they have several of their other planets in Libra, then perhaps they would want what Libra has.

Well, again I must be an exception to the rule - one more of this and I'll start to believe I'm actually a different sign altogether! :p

I'm not a jealous type. You can try to make me jealous, you can put all your effort in it and be persistant to make me jealous, and never stop trying - and it still wouldn't work. In fact, when someone tries to make me jealous, I just turn my back on them and pretend they stopped existing from then on. Then again, when a boyfriend would tell him about his female friends or would talk to another woman, even if she is better looking than me or even drop dead gorgeous, I just don't seem to be able to care about that.

I believe they call that either emotionless or indifferent...

Annyway, I'm a Scorpio - or I should be, since I was born on the 10th of November. I would like to believe that I'm an Aquarius born in november. The ONLY symbolic scorpio trait that I have is that I have a nasty sting. If someone hurts me, I get very vengeful and will leave nothing standing on my way to revenge. I take certain things very personally - if someone is wronged, even when I don't know the person, I would do anything in my power to make it right, even when I don't have to. I'm very persistent and I'm very VERY energetic (which is more a mars trait than a scorpio one, but scorpio is ruled by mars, so let's not forget the red planet) I can be deadly violent, and I have the Scorpio trademark scarey but gorgeous eyes.

All my other traits are typical to other signs, ones that are in my chart as well and very prominent.

Scorpios are jealous because they are usually faithful and want their partner to be the same way. Trust me, I'm one also and so is my boyfriend. Not all scorpios have the exact same characteristics. If you look at a book on the zodiac you will usually find lists of traits. The person under the specific sign will have any or all of the traits, whether they admit it or not. Every sign has good and bad about it, just as every person has good and bad.

Im a scorpio in every description in every book exactly to the T. I try not to take astrology as truth, but i am, jealous, passionate, loyal, and manipulative, and I feel things strongly. I hate to admit it. I experienced that in my last relationship which lasted for over 5 years. But, i've also realized that scorpios are very vindictive and hold grudges for long periods of time. And that is what lead me to act that way with my ex. I could never forgive him for hurting me, so I lashed out at him. Before he hurt me, I was great, I was sweet, fun, and all that. And I realized it, and I didn't want to be that person. So, I decided to break it off because I know im never gonna let go. So I guess, scorpios are, great, passionate and all that stuff, until you backstab them.

Yeah they can be very jealous, but also extremely passionate and faithful, and not to mention secretive!

And just for all the sceptics out there, there is far more to astrology than where the Sun was in the sky at the time of your birth, i.e. all the other planets and the moon etc. Plus, if the moon controls the tides, and we're 70% water, then surely it can influence us too? They all have influences, strong and weak, and just because you aren't typical of YOUR sign, doesn't mean astrology is instantly a load of crap.

I'm a Scorpio too, but I'm am not jealous, ever. I have sister who is very jealous, shes a saggie, and its a terrible trait to have. She fully admits to her jealously but she says she can't help it. Shes even jealous of people who have her best interests at heart which to me is totally bizarre.

Its based on insecurity about who you are in yourself, and believing others always have it better. Which is not the case at all.

There is a lot more to astrology then sun signs!

I'm a Scorpio, and I was supposed to get rich last week! What the heck happened for Pete's sake? I mean if you can't trust the Stars, who or what can you trust. The week before I was supposed to meet a tall, dark, handsome stranger, and you know something! He didn't show up! Good thing too, cause I'm a guy, and I'm straight!
What a load of old cobblers! I CANNOT believe people still fall for that old Astrology rubbish! This is the 21st century, for Pete's sake.

Scorpios are jealous, possessive, but it's not a bad trait when dating. That means they really care and like you. I've been in love with about 4 Scorpios, they are promising people. Just don't cross them.
