I'm confused about what my friend thinks of me. I've known him properly for about three months, and we generally hang around in a group, although I do talk to him one to one. Sometimes I get the feeling he likes me. He looks at me and smiles at me a lot. He often sits next to me. If I'm talking to other people he often seems to be listening to what I'm saying, and sometimes joins in with the conversation, commenting on what I've said. He'll remember things I've said to him, or things I've said when he's around from weeks before. He'll always comes over and talk to me when he gets the chance, and sometimes when I'm talking to other people he'll hang around me, as if he wants to talk to me but doesn't have the chance to. He's generally quite shy, and doesn't give much away, so it's hard to tell what he's thinking. What signs should I be looking for? How can I tell whether it's just friendship he wants, or more?

i think this friend of yours has a crush on you .
he's generally quiet around people but feels able to talk to you great !
good for you it shows how nice you are, that this guy is able to trust you and feel more confident around you .
asking him out now there's the hardest part if he's quit shy he might so want to ask you out on a date ,and be afraid of rejection what if you said no.
you could ask him if he'd like to go see a movie or something with you.

Perhaps. There's hope. Why don't you try talking to him more instead of letting him hang around you? Get the guy to talk more and make him feel comfortable, lady. :)

those are all signs of it, but just to make sure ask him!! if he is your friend, then just do it. you said he is shy so, write him a note because he'll share what he has to say better than facin you.
