Because hes an idiot hes having trouble with 1 team why the hell would anyone give him the U-21 job so he can screw that up too? The man plays defense only, hes scared to send his midfielders up front and that is why Lampard and Gerrard dont score much for England these days.

he was bad enough at boro, his team had to go 3 goals down before they started playing! not exactly a proven track record is it, why dont we train up these so called managers who earn enough and i also think the future england 1st team manager should run the u-21 job for ten years before he becomes full squad boss, anyone else agree?

Since he's been appointed as a Manager he's never done anything special for the team and he's right now under fire for that reason so I can simply say he can't do both while the one he was appointed for does not go his way yet.

Are you insane?
The man is useless! He plays defensive football and doesn't like anyone to push forward. Defence consists of defenders with midfielders worrying about going too far forward and the poor forward(s) have to rely on a luck! Oh and the forwards mustn't shoot from too far away from the goal! He was the same for Middlesbrough!

Because he's having trouble just getting ONE team to win at the moment, so getting TWO to win would be an impossibility.

Judging by last night's pathetic performance, McClaren can't even do the one job. Two would be far too much for him.

I think their whole existance is too ugly for them to do anything. Does anything make you grab more buckets to fill with vommit than publicity of football officials?
