I have a 1st gen model and many of the skins I see say they are for 2nd gen Nanos. I was wondering if these skins for 2nd gen Nanos would work ok on my 1st gen model.

Most of the silicone skins and leather cases made for the first gen Nano won't really work w/ the new second gen Nano b/c Apple shifted the placement on the headphone port just enough to make the holes not match up. My advice is, if you buy an accessory that does not specifically say it is made for Gen 2 Nano, make sure you can return it for a refund.

no the 2 gen nano has round edges...and i have a skin from decal girl and it wraps around the whole ipod
