Sadly, I never got to see Led Zeppelin either. I'm only 17....sort of born in the wrong generation of music (no offense to those who like it).

No way. Today's music is mostly trendy trash. The good stuff is long gone, and that's all thats ever going to be remembered.

Rage Against the Machine if they get back together again. They are the best live show I have ever had the pleasure to see. I never got to see Led Zep...but I am sure they will be remembered for a long time too.

I agree that extremely a number of the bands/musicians pronounced will be remembered. As highly as Beethoven or Mozart? Who is time-honored with of? regardless of the indisputable fact that, maximum "musicians" immediately is actual not remembered. Why? because the major to fulfillment contained in the music market has grew to grow to be from organic musical skills to popularity and fortune. In different words, in case you cope with to pay for to pay people...you may be a action picture star. Why do you imagine diverse actors/actresses are putting out Pop/Rap albums? because all it takes is funds and popularity, which they already have. With the massive boost of our awareness of technologies has come really user-friendly techniques to cheat your way into music. the major to all Rap, Techno, and pa is funds/equipment, not skills. something else of the music genres quite require skills for fulfillment (debatably not all sorts of u . s . a ....). it really is the reason purely about not one of the hits you hear on the radio will ever be remembered. do not get me incorrect, gifted musicians do exist immediately...yet society would not supply them praise like they offer those shallow spoiled "celebrities" that infest the media. My desire is that sometime, people will awaken and understand what they're lacking, yet who's time-honored with of if which will ever take position...

I would say U2. They have reinvented themselves with every new album. Just when you think that they cannot top the last they do. Plus the humanitarian work that Bono does also helps put the band in the spotlight.
