My friend who is a boy (let's call him George) knows who my crush is. So far, he's been completely trustworthy with my secrets. In fact, he's kind of helped me. He's broughten up my courage by convincing me to send him a secret admirer card, and today almost convinced me of asking my crush straight up! I must admit he's helped me a lot with my crush, but there are times that he criticizes me and says things like, "You see? That's one thing you should change if you want your crush to like you!" What am I supposed to do? Help, please!

You are supposed to be yourself. If your crush likes you then that means he like the whole package. It's good that your friend is helping you, but I feel that maybe he wants to be your b/f and doesn't want your crush to ever know you like him. Please just try and ask the guy out that you like. That way we don't have to talk about this sittuation anymore! Good luck.
