I have to act out examples of satire tomorrow in school. Can someone please give me a skit that I can use for acting out examples of satire? Thank You.

An easy way to perform satire is to play the role of a news reporter. Then take a recent event such as the big brother debacle...

EG. (Something to build on)

Breaking news, Channel 4 have announced the are sending Jade Goody to india in an attempt to improve relations following the big brother debacle. When questioned Jade said she was really looking forward to it as she had never been to bradford before.

Jonathon Swift's, "A Modest Proposal"....Late 1800's England was stricken with paupers (beggars); Johnathon Swift Preposed that the wealthy class should eat the pheasant babies..satirically of course. He was poking fun at the decadent upper class.

Figure out some way to use Jonathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal" - your teacher will be very impressed !

It should be easy to figure out how to act it out.
