I'm 12 years old. At the beginning of the school year I was 5'6" 1/2. Then I became 5'7". Then, 5'8". Now, I'm 5'9"!
I wasn't always 5+ inches taller than everyone. I only became so tall in the first few years of elementary school.
My dad's 6'2" and my mom's 5'6".
When will I stop growing? Will everyone catch up to me? How tall will I be?

You will stop growing at 16-18.

I know how you feel! I am 12, and I am 5'5". I am so tall! My friends are all short!! I know how you feel. Do you model?

I don't know how to tell my parents I want too!

Women generally stop growing around the time they start their menstral period. You may grow one or two inches after that, but no more. I also had a growth spurt at age 12, then got my period at 13, and I'm currently the same height as I was at 13. (Now I'm 30.)

I don't know. It depends on when you get your period. After you get it, you get about 1-2 years to grow. And when you get your period is based on genetics. Ask your mom when she got hers.

One last thing: the others may never catch up to you. The guys will, but you may always be the tallest girl. That's ok though. You'll be remembered as the beautiful tall girl! (not to mention you could be a great model.)
