I'm talking about rape, robbery, assault, and ANY gun crimes!! I think it would be a great deterrent if it is done EVERY time.

I suport the death penatly...with a fast Execution... Criminals to stay in the death roll for an average to 10-15 years until a final decission is made...is rediculus....I like to see a criminal die at least before some members of the victim's familly die from nature causes...at least these familly members will get some satisfaction when they will see and feel that some Justice was done, to ease their pain.

I am against the death penalty in principle.
however, I will not mourn a violent criminal who is executed.

and death penalty has been proven to not deter crime. sometimes stricter penalties increase crime- a non-violent offender will kill someone before they are arrested if the penalties are ridicuously large. someone who know they are or will be sentenced to death doesn't care. they have a free card. you can't do anything worse to them
(the fictional novel- The Green Mile- illustraits this with the 19 year old boy on death row. I forgot his name)

Only with DNA evidence. There have been wrongful executions proven by DNA after the fact. I'd like to eliminate such mistakes.
If DNA confirmation is unavailable then the Death Penalty must be off the table rather than take the risk.

human beings may be extra probably to help the shortcoming of existence penalty if it became effective in deterring crime yet because the punishment isn't done in a well timed way the guy convicted and sentenced to lack of existence is extra probably to die of old age than be performed. in case you carry the punishment out in a well timed way and do it publicly it is going to likely be effective as a deterrent.

I don't believe in capital punishment, period. I think that no human deserves to be killed prematurely. The death penalty is an easy way out for people who have committed terrible wrongs; They should have to live with what they've done in prison. Any time spent in prison is worse punishment then the death penalty.

until a system is put into place that would be recognized nationally to address the problem with district attorney's overcharging people that would not be a good idea at all.

Capital crimes deserve capital punishment

End of story

And we need to speed up the process. No more than 1 year from conviction to execution.

I think it should be applied anytime there is INTENT to kill someone.

I think it should be applied to all sexual offenders who attack children.

That's about it. We can't go around killing people for robbing a bank if they didn't kill anyone; I draw the line there.
