Im not talkin about real wrestling as in two guys standing in a circle tryin to push each other out or pin them. Im talkin about fake wrestling as in WWF now WWE. I stopped watching wrestling when I was 17. Im 26 now. Mainly because i dont live in my mom's basement anymore and I am not a loser anymore. Anyway, I was just wondering what is going on with WWE now a days? I turned on the tv and I saw all kinds of fake wrestling on the Spike channels. FIrst there's this wrestling that has former superstars of WWE but fighting in an octagon ring. THen there's ECW that came out of no where. Is ECW supposed to be like WCW or somethin? And then there's Wrestling Society X. I mean are those all part of WWE or is it just another company tryin to compete with it? I hope wrestling fans doesnt still think it's real fighting. The contact is real but it's all and act in terms of hate and the landing. Just wondering what is going on with WWE now with all these other crabola on tv now.

The wrestling you saw on Spike is TNA (Total Nonstop Action). It's actually a six sided ring, but who's counting. ECW is now under WWE's control so it's not the good ol' ECW. WSX just popped up recently and is more of putting on a theatrical show than actual wrestling.

I agree, wrestling is not as great today as it has been in the past. Hopefully, TNA and WSX can provide good competition for WWE to step up its game.

"FIrst there's this wrestling that has former superstars of WWE but fighting in an octagon ring."

Your either talking about UFC or TNA. UFC is not pro or amature wrestling, but mixed martial arts and is a real (not staged) competition. TNA is a pro wrestling promotion and it uses a hexagon ring. It is an independent promotion from the WWE.

"THen there's ECW that came out of no where. Is ECW supposed to be like WCW or somethin?"

ECW was an independent wrestling promotion durring the 90s. It is currently owned and run by the WWE.

Wresling Society X on Mtv is also a wrestling promotion independent of the WWE.

Is this fighting real, no (except for UFC which is not pro wrestling). Most pro wrestling fans now adays know wrestling is a simulated athletic competition and that it is staged much like any other tv show in America.

If I had a nickle for every time some doomsayer interior the historic previous of wrestling has pronounced precisely that (different than, consistent with possibility making invariably one observe as a replace of two because it became meant) i may well be one wealthy dude. Wrestling became over whilst it became got here across to be pretend. Wrestling became over whilst steroids have been further into question. Wrestling became over whilst ECW got here alongside and the ideas-set era killed what became left of kayfabe. Now wrestling's lifeless as a results of fact of a PG score in a single single corporation? Please. bigger fish have tried to fry wrestling, yet thinking what's occurring down on the West Coast in countless excessive profile independents, the inevitable rebirth of NWA as a sparkling yet comparable entity, and the hotbed that Florida is slowly transforming into as quickly as lower back, alongside with the internet exposing us to all of this, plus wrestling from Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Japan, i might say it is going to be awhile formerly this goose observed as wrestling is in good condition for intake.
