Okay my little sister needs help with some fractions and its been so long since i have done this stuff!!!

2/5 of the students go to the art center. How many go to the art center?...


Ok and here is the other part of the worksheet...

18 students in Jeremy's class buy lunch on Friday.

Two fewer than 1/3 of the students buy sandwiches. How many buy sandwiches?

2/3 of the students buy chicken dinners. How many do not buy chicken dinners?

and yes i just started tutoring im in geometry but i never learned i just passed through. i knew it while i was on the subject but once i finished i just i dunno. i solved the problems but i just needed verification.

can't answer the first question bc i think you're missing some info...

4 students buy sandwiches

6 do not buy chicken dinners

4 kids go to the arts center.... you gotta be kidding me right?

the second problem
4 kids buy sandwiches. (6 is one third so 6-2 = 4)
6 do not buy chicken. (12 is two thirds so 18-12 = 6 kids)
if you could not solve these on your own, i reccomend you find a math tutor immediately... no offense.

how many students are there total? we can't help unless we know the number of total students.
