What improvements or changes should I make for my banner site?

I currently use an Invisionfree forum as my site, as it was better for my needs than using a freewebs page I fashioned the color scheme off of the banner that a friend made for the site, which I like. I'd like to attract a few other people to post banners in my site and to post the Banner World banner on their site or forum signatures. What might attract some users? The site is free, as I mainly started the site to show my own banners, which wouldn't fit in my signatures, but I wanted to increase my views so the banners are seen.
