What is the best source for unbiased U.S. national and world news?

All sources will have their bias so it would be best to view a few with totally different angles and make you own choice from there.

CNN international (not the US edition) is generally pretty good - although it is still US centric.

BBC world news would be better and has more balanced and international stories. It is also worth watching/reading/listening to other 'non-western' news sources. Many of these will have a website or channel that broadcasts in english and it will allow you to see another point of view.

I feel sorry for news viewers in the US as it is like the rest of the world doesn't even exist...
