I am a small business owner and the best way to file taxes is to go through an accountant. What you pay the accountant this year you can deduct next year as a business expense. There are so many deductions that you are entitled to. Vehicle expenses if used for business, utilities, payroll, advertising, insurance, business loan interest, supplies, rent, paying to have your office cleaned.....there are way too many to list. Your accountant can help with this. If you get audited, the accountant goes in to deal with the IRS. So get all your receipts and 1099s together and make an appointment, well worth the expense
