He did what Clinton, Air America, George Soros etc. couldnt do, give the Democrats a majority in the house...This was all done for a stupid war, not for pushing true conservatism.....Here are some facts.

1. The Supreme Court became more conservative only AFTER consevatives complained.

2. Nothing has been done on immigration. Rather, Bush is trying to make our immigration laws more lenient.

3. The size of the government has INCREASED under Bush.

Where did you come up with this wonderful idea? Your parents? The mainstream, LIBERAL media? Did you come up with this original thinking on your own? Wow, do you belong to Mensa? I rather hate to point this out, but generalization about a portion of any population is BIGOTRY. Are you an honest to goodness real life BIGOT? Gosh, mister, I ain't never seen one of those before. What does it feel like to be a BIGOT? You actually sound like one of those mind-numbed robots programmed by the mainstream media. Have you ever thought for yourself, or have you always followed the party line? Losing to Liberals? Gee, only when they successfully throw mud instead of put forth what they stand for for public display. Of course Liberals don't really have IDEAS They just feel things. Right?I don't support everything Bush says, or does. Do you give unconditional support to Hilary, Al, Nancy Palosi, or Dingy Harry? If Liberals ran on the issues and stuck to facts they lose all the time. They have to lie, but then again, they have the mainstream media to do it for them. They get away with lying about things no Conservative would. Look at Bill Clinton. Let's not generalize anymore, right? Or, should I continue to consider you a BIGOT?

On the other hand, we have three extremely important accomplishments under Bush:

1) We FINALLY took the war to the terrorists after being a target for 20 years and earning a repuation as a "paper tiger".

2) After the (small) recession at the end of the Clinton administration, our economy is SOARING with no end in sight.

3) The "No Child Left Behind Act" sets a higher standard for edcuation in our schools, and the dividends we will earn from edcucating our children can't be estimated.

These three things: national security, money and education are among the central strengths of any government, and America needs to be out in front in all three areas.

Beware of any who criticize or undermine any of these efforts. There are thousands worldwide who are armed, ready and willing to kill Americans and say so daily. These three things will keep us in front in both the short term and in the long term.

In fact, I think education might do you some good, too. The way you call people "blind" in their follership exposes your ignorance on several levels.

First, you don't understand conservatives. You simply don't have a clue.

Second, you don't realize that your use of the word "blind" exposes your motivation to demean others simply because they disagree with you.

Third, you seem to be paying respect for the character assassins on Air America and the NON-AMERICAN buffoon G. Soros who pumped millions of dollars into the American economy by way of political ads and DIDN'T GET ANYTHING IN RETURN! That had to have been the worst investment in his career. I hope he does it in every election.

Fourth, the most obvious and prevalent flaw in politics today is dishonesty, and you seem to be oblivious to the facts just enough to have missed who (exactly) is lying almost every time they talk.

No, you've got it backwards. Why are liberals so blind in
their non-support of the United States of America. If they
ever lived in Indonesia, Bangkok, Syria, Palestine etc. they
would see how wonderful our nation really is. I kissed the
ground when I returned from overseas.
1) The supreme Court is in better shape since
Bush's appointments (that all Democrats
objected to)
2) Lots is being done about immigration....you just
don't know as you're not in the loop.
3) The size of the government keeps increasing
under every president because the American
people keep putting their hands out more and morel
4) The economy is the best it has been in many years.
5) We have not had another terrorist attack since 911
which is probably a miracle in itself.
6) We now have a chance to see which politicians
are for America and which ones are against it.
7) You can't be for the troops and against the war.
That's like saying you're for the firemen but
against them fighting the fires.
Lastly, I like my facts better than yours.

Great details after your question!!! ...but I think it only proves your question erroneous. See, b/c of # 1, 2, & 3, his conservative base were either not motivated to go to the polls, or found conservative Democrats to vote for (many of the freshman are not as liberal as the party leadership). I think our apparent support of Bush stems from the misinformation on Yahoo! questions and defending the truth. But most of us are certainly not blindly in agreement with him. Again, no argument here against the fallacies of 1, 2, & 3!!!

That's something I've often wondered. All I can say is that conservatives are embarrassed and they're trying to defend him so they don't all look like idiots. And Bush could help by learning how to pronounce words, or like I saw him on TV once, brag about reading a book, which he did. And Bush is being rather devious in his actions, surrounding Iran by taking over Iraq and Afghanistan. He's obviously been planning this for a long, long time. The conservatives need to admit their mistakes so they can get over it, and maybe their next presidential nominee will bank on his own intelligence, not his father's, and make them prouder than Bush has.

It's a matter of the lesser of two evils, lol. Supporting dems will definitely not resolve the illegal immigration problem.
I may not like everything Bush does, but I believe that we should stand by our President...and he happens to be that person. I also am a military brat and have family members who are or have been to the war and I support them and what they are doing.

Because it's hard to realize that everything you believed in was a complete lie. In 2001 after 9/11, they ate up everything Bush fed them. It is nearly impossible for them to accept that they've been lied to for so long.

I mean imagine finding out you were actually adopted. Would it be easy to accept at first?

The Republicans will slowly, and I mean SLOWLY, realize that Bush was a failure. You can see conservative support slowly falling away in the polls, even if it is only a percent at a time.

Also, I believe Bush's position on gay marriage and abortion is causing Conservatives to condone Bush's mistake in Iraq.

I voted for Bush to stand up against terrorism and win the war in Iraq. So far he hasn't let down on either topic. That is why I still support him. If you call that being blind, then we have two totally opposite definitions of blind. So you seem to see clearly in voting for the Democrats to become the majority of the house and Congress so they can withdraw the troops? there's just one major detail they forgot to tell you, the president makes the decision to withdraw the troops. Who's blind now buddy?

You forgot about the 700 mile wall bush just authorized. I agree about the size of goverment, however he has done a decent job on the economy (4.5% unemployment) and the war (Saddam dead). Enough?
