Germany's economy isn't so good.
And... nothing else much. It's mostly about Iraq and at the moment, the death of Anna Nicole Smith.

Don't know but in Scotland we see your hooliganism, aggressive police force and neo-nazi marches on our news (yes, I know this is not reflective of the modern Germany)

Very, very little in broadcast or print media.
I like to check in on Deutsche Welle online or via shortwave once in a while just to check it out, but I'd say that's extremely rare.
