He wasn't legally married to her, they had a commitment towards each other therefore wasn't legally married to her, living common-law will have some consequences here also, him being a lawyer he would know of many loopholes, and yet, perhaps she did have a will bequesting all her millions to him who know's time will tell. I'd imagine her daughter will be the one to inherit all the money and guess who's going to have a hand in that pot?

Her daughter will but the paternity is up for grabs between Stern and some other guy.

Maybe...he's otta pass the DNA yet, and provide a legal marriage certificate too.
It was believed that he truly did love her and with her from way back...but theirs was not your ordinary life....
