I am trying to enable the shared printer. I have a desktop and a BRAND new laptop, about 3 days old, it has windows vista on it, while the desktop has windows xp. everytime i search for the printer it finds it but when i try to add it i get this stupid error message sayin (on the laptop) that there is not enough memory...and im like wtf....this ******* laptop has a 1 gig of memory and a 120 gb harddrive AND its NEW....how can i fix this??

it says that there is not enough memory to complete the operation....and to close some programs....anyone know what i can do to add this printer!! and yes the driviers are installed aand everything...

I would say it maily has to do with Vista. From what I'm hearing, it is quite buggy. Many compatibilty issues surrounding it right now. I'm holding off purchasing it until after the first service pack.

Try installing the printer directly to you laptop to see if it will work.

Something's wrong with the driver, or you installed the wrong driver.
