It could happen but there is other teams that need a QB not just the bears we will see in the free agency wire. If McNabb is starting for the eagles i dont see Jeff Garcia in a eagle uniform then.

Grossman's contract expires at the end of the 2007 season. If Grossman does not perform better (remember this was his first real season as a starter), do not look for any contract extensions offered to him. Also, looking at veteran QBs now does not bode well since Brian Griese has a 5-year contract with the Bears and Orton is still on the team (although he is tired of riding the pine). If the Bears were to look outside for QB help, they would look at Matt Schaub (Atlanta - Restricted) or Damon Huard (Kansas City - Unrestricted) since they are both younger and seem to have many more seasons left in them than Garcia. Besides, Philly won't let Jeff go due to his late season performance unless the trade bait is extremely appetizing (i.e. draft picks or solid defensive players).
The Bears will more than likely wait out one more season to see Grossman's progression. If he fails, then Chicago will hit the free agency market for QBs.

There is a good chance of the bears trading for a quarter back. The Eagles have found solid starters in both Mcnabb and Garcia, and, based on Garcia's performance this year, i would not be surprised if either was traded.

No. They have a QB (who believe me i don't think is good) who is young and just got them to the Superbowl. Garcia has played well in the final few games of the season, but why switch to a 1-2 year quick fix when Grossman can learn and mature under that offense?
It would really make no sense.

Theres no exact proof yet that jeff will end up in chicago. Rex's contract is up in o7 and he can opt out of it in 08. Jeff say he likes the way the bears are built on offense and defense and expresses that he would not mind going there i believe he will end up there

He's definitely shown interest and I'm sure whether the Bears will admit to it or not, they are interested as well. It's just whether they're willing to mortgage their future on Garcia to win a title now.

There's a good chance that he will. Lovie's patience with Grossman has to run out eventually.
