Expecting to ride on the back of the success of the book, in 1997 producers bundled this with the "no-hoper" !!!! Star Wars. Amazingly, 'The Other Side Of MIdnight" bombed at the box office and the rest is history.

Sidney Sheldon.

If you ever want to know anything about any movie/TV programme ever made, go to www.imdb.com (stands for Internet Movie Database). If you punch in the name of the film you're searching for, it will come up if it's ever been made, and it will give you ALL the details (actors, directors, producers, cameramen, etc...) Checked yours, and it was made into a film of the same name in 1977.

TV is produced to the lowest common denominator - i.e., the average IQ of the general public, whereas a book is written to the best common denominator
