I really don't see the problem with smoking in a resturant or casino. Or in your car or your own apartment/house. People complain it being bad for you..and granted it is but no worse than all the exhaust you inhale from driving everyday or the water most people get out of their tap or the pollution in the air (especially in LA or NJ)...matter of fact our over polluting and populating selves have created a much more toxic environment than a crazy lady blowing a whole pack in your face. I don't agree with smoking anywhere but in a bar/restaurant or casino I believe it should be up to the owner. Why can you go to Atlantic city and sin away with alcohol and gambling but cant smoke a cigarette too...doesn't that sound plain stupid? And why can you get bombed off your *** at a bar but you can't smoke a cigarette inside?
Yeh, it smells bad but so does the fat hairy guy that smells like onions in front of me at 711...i just don't get it...please explain guys

I agree completely. Just one more stupid government intrusion. Businesses should be able to decide themselves whether and where in their establishments to allow smoking, then people can decide whether or not to shop, eat, etc. there!

If you want to ruin your own lungs that is your choice, but you shouldn't have to make other people suffer for it. Secondhand smoke is just as bad as firsthand smoke and those who are smart enough not to smoke shouldn't have to put up with other people's bad habits. You smokers always like to make up lame excuses to justify your habit (you came up with quite a few in your question), and if you want to become a slave to a cigarette and blow your hard earned money on something addictive that will kill you, that's your decision. But please be respectful to those of us to choose to take care of our bodies and do not want to inhale your stinky, toxic smoke.

there are various types of cancer out there such as throat cancer, gum cancer, lung caner and many more than those. I hope you think about this smoking nonsense once again since the government is out there trying to take your hard earned money when you buy these cigarettes.

I have a problem with resturant smoking not only because I am a non-smoker. But also because cigerattes tend to cause me to get MIGRAINE HEADACHES. And I DO NOT allow ANYONE to smoke in my home or car!!!
In fact, I AVOID any PLACE that ALLOWS SMOKING!!

Because of the risks of second hand smoke and it smells awfull and burns the eyes.

All I can say is I totally agree with you. If people don't like the atmosphere, then they shouldn't go there. Why do we drinkers/smokers have to accomodate those who don't "sin"??
