why did Ben Affleck get so much credit when he died in the first scene? and what was the point of his character that did nothing but drink booze smoke a cigar and play pool?

because he's BEN AFFLECK. his name before any movie will attract crowds. i just just got back from the movie like a hour ago and it was DEFINATELY worth sneaking into.

Do you mean a spoiler? But they just had to throw big names out to get people to the theaters. I don't know why though, it was a good movie.

I was thinkin the same thing myself! Maybe he had something to do with producing or directing or something. He had a really minor part!
