What would white history month consist of?

I am of known African American and Native American ancestry. I think that a big part of the fault lies in what it is to be black or white. These days the color of your skin most likely will not acurately depict your racial make-up. Yet we are still sadly judged and categorized by color. The terms black and white are so incredibly broad, and specifc terms such as African American and Caucasian in reality dont hold much weight since alot of people are a mix of more than one race.

Most African Americans have the unfortunate disadvantage of not really knowing exactly where their ancestors originated because they were brought here against their will, unlike the generations of an imigrant family. I think black history month is a valid and general dedication to the rise of successful African Americans through the hardship of their enslaved ancestors. Its more like "The African American rise out of slavery celebration month."

There is no white history month because "white history" is much more general. Of course I wouldnt complain if there was one. Someone be my guest to make one. Sure there's alot to celebrate in white history as well. But I believe that white americans as a whole have not collectively been through the same hardships as minority groups. And I believe that major white accomplishments have been just as equally recognized as the accomplishments of any other races if not more. Some ask, well when are these "unfair" advantages of minority groups going to end? Well I think it will end when the world stops seeing in color and category. So if you've read this, start today. = )

of White People does not exist. Neither does
a White History Month. In today's PC liberal
society, both would be deemed racist.

I can't even begin to go through the list, so we will stick w\the basics: Show the accomplishments we have made since recorded history began; technology, communication, space & underwater exploration, physics, psychology, etc. The downside would also be augumented: How the welfare state is draining tens of millions of dollars each year, how crime has skyrocketed in the inner city, why we must lock our doors & look both ways when entering or exiting a building, why it is becoming increasingly relevant to acquire a carry & conceal permit.

The birth of Capitalism would be it main premise. Mr.Moneybags of Monopoly would be the official mascot. There would be Holocaust reenactments, Alabama church pinatas, and of course, no White history month is complete without the annual guilt parade. The floats will promote; forced diversity through religious innuendo, the novelty of gender equality and last but not least really bad soft rock. Heading this parade is a float depicting Atlas. (Atlas Complex that is....) And atop the crowded streets of red-necks, Jews, Pollocks, Italians, English, dutch and German....There will be showers of 8 inch dildos and Viagra. Women, unfortunately wont have a part in the celebration...except in the last and final day of White history month where all of the women gather in the little town in Seattle to sacrifice themselves at the foot of a 100ft statue of Oedipus.

The achievements of the White Man could no way be celebrated in just a month. White men have invented everything in use today. If they didn't invent it they made it practical. The white man created democracy and yes he has made some mistakes.NOT MANY. But we are working on them. The white man invented plastics. interchangeable parts. The assembly line. the list goes on and on. Another thing if it were not for the White Man many many would starve to death, that are not White. Say that isn't so. And you are just in denial and beyond reasoning.

White people came here scared to death of everything and made some very stupid mistakes but it boggles me they I can be accounted for hunderds of years ago.

The one and only one I am proud of is they gave religious freedom
to all who came.
So may be a month of all the ways people worship and what they belive would be the best of the month.

i would like to know the same thing i don't understand what a white person has don to help me feel prideful about being black most make me feel bad for being black which i am not but if their was a white history month i wouldn't understand what for the majority of history books are white history we learn about it everyday in school

We could hold a party all by ourselves. No, that wouldn't work. There would be minorities outside picketing us and using the courts to try to crash it.
