I agree, More people need to take a trip to the local hospital for a dose of reality...hundreds of families everyday are faced with deaths from Childhood leukaemia, breast Cancer, Prostate cancer and endless other issues... I wouldn't go so far as to say no one cares I just agree with the saying..."Out Of Sight. Out of Mind"

I feel for someone and the family of someone that has passed famous or average.
Especially if there are children involved. When a celebrity dies it does shock the world even if they really didn’t do anything great because we hear about these people almost everyday. In the case of Anna Nicole Smith, I did feel for her when her son died. To lose a child would be the hardest thing in the world and I couldn’t imagine the pain that she went through in the last couple of months. I hear on the news normal people passing all the time and I feel for them and there families. And I no the rest of the world do to. So to say that people only care when famous people die is not true.

First of all, it isn't to say that "we" worship them. I feel bad for all people who die before their time, however a regular parent who dies when their child isn't even a year old is not often publicized in such a fashion. As well, the fact that Dannilynn may end up a drug-crazed lunatic if Anna Nicole was in her life was not true!! Her son Danny was never seen with an alcoholic drink or drug in his life. The investigation into his death is still ongoing and she raised him without a father, therefore he was perfectly fine.
Just because Danny died of what he died from does not mean he had a problem. If his death was a difinitive overdose there would not be any investigation still ongoing almost 6 months after the fact.
Don't judge a person by what you see on the media. I'm sure she was a fine person, and she didn't steal from an old man, for all you know, she may have really loved him and he may have really loved her.
Give her a break and let her rest in peace.

the whole country does not know the average hard working person that died, and how do you know that no one cares about them?are you at there funeral?becouse I guarantee you that someone is at thier funeral becouse those who know that average hardworking person are the ones who care.I feel bad for any child who loses a parent.Heck death any fair in any situation.and as far as anna nicole-a role model??for what?she is nasty and was no actress and had no reason to be labeled famous or a celebrity!so why ( and who) actually worships her, other than some horny teen or guy.??

I think without anna in her life that baby might not end up a drug addict nutcase- Yeah yeah courtney's mean and heartless but seriously she was nuts and everybody knew it- maybe someone can really take care of that baby now. I feel bad that she died, I feel bad about anyone who dies, but that baby didn't stand a chance for normality with her as a mom

But let me ask you this, Did she do anything important for the world or the community or did she take and steal from an old man. This was the most bogus move she made and you must search your heart for the truth and realize that she did some ugly things that COULD have been help. We all make mistakes but marrying a man nearly on his death bed and he is rich as hell is not a mistake!!

well.... in the 1st place... we dont know about the 'other' women who died in hospitals...maybe the media should expose them more... That was we can actually 'know' this people so that we dont only symphatize Anna nicole but other women as well.. it's not that we DONT CARE.. it's that we DONT KNOW... I'm sure we symphatize other people as well it's just that we know Anna Nicole as a celebrity so we're like shocked...

i do feel bad for all the children that lose their mothers...but most people show their feelings for celebrities because they know about their lives and hear about it everyday. its not possible for me or anyone else to know about every single mother that has died...its just like if someone dies close to you. then you are effected and everyone who knows that person is effected but if i didnt know the person then i wouldnt be because i wasnt in that persons life and didnt know them..or hear about their life.

and who says "we" worships them... maybe you...
I don’t think celebrities are more important. They're in public eyes, so you can't help for media or even us not to talk about them, PERIOD!!!!
I feel really bad & sad.... I don't personally know her or anything, but I feel so sad for her daughter.
People are just too quick to judge her.... she was this, she was that..damn....she's dead!
Anyways,
Rest In Peace Anna Nicole!!!
