It sounds like you have some type of sleeping disorder. Perhaps you have some sort of breathing problem when you sleep and you should go see a doctor. Also, your life will be much easier if you buy and alarm clock. They aren't that expensive and you will sleep better knowing that something is going to wake you up on time. Also if you feel tired throughout the day you should go to bed sooner. Maybe you are sleeping very lightly and you are unconscious but not getting any rest. Perhaps you need some sleep medication that will zonk you out better. I use Ambien CR. It works great. The CR means controlled release. It dissolves slowly through the night so it keeps working and you stay asleep. But if you do get on medication, you need to go to sleep at a time that will allow you to get 8 or 9 hours a night. Hope this helped. Good luck with you problem.

PS. Sleep medication, the good stuff, is usually only available with a prescription so you really should see a doctor.

Dude it's not a big deal at all. Every night when I go to sleep, if I am not too tired and retain part of my consciousness, I realize that I have totally random thoughts. At some point during these thoughts, I try to track my chain of thoughts to see where it started from and how it got to where I was, and I can never find it. Or maybe that final thought I had been trying to track, just totally slips out of my mind and I think "What was I thinking about?" I am a straight-A honors student in high school, so obviously nothing is wrong with me. Relax I highly doubt anything is wrong with you either. One time when I was waking up slowly on a weekend, I was having random thoughts and one of them was "We should make a portable stove!!" and I thought up of what it would look like and everything. Afterwards when I was fully awake I realized it made no sense.... lol

You might want to see a Dr. and have them check you for sleep apnea. The lack of oxygen to the brain during sleep could be the cause.
