The same cat goes by my window everyday at five twenty five...

Well my cat works on a weekly schedule.
Monday : sit in front of shoe cupboard at back door and stare at it until the kids come home from school
Tuesday : pretend you are a door stop until the kids come home from school.
Wednesday : Lick myself until I cack up a furball infront of the backdoor for the kids when they get home from school.
Thursday : Leave really offensive pile in catbox and then stare at the back door.
Friday : place paw in owners face every hour until dawn and then pretend it was the doorstop staring at the backdoor with the offensive smelling furball.
Weekends : Leave me alone Ive had a hard week.

Don't know much about cats, but my dogs certainly have a routine. And I swear they can hear 1/4 mile away. About 3 minutes before my husband gets home, no matter what time he comes home, they run to the door and get really excited. Hearing, smell, telepathy...?

Its their nature to have a schedule, My cat wants to go outside and prowl at 10:32 exactly every night lol

they do follow some sort of routine, but mainly its food, if a cat is fed at number 5 at 11.30 am and number 14 at 12noon and you live at number 11 in the same street you can guarantee he will walk passed your house in the same direection at the same time everyday (approx11.50am)

They do to an extent. Let me ask... Is the sun shining through that window at that time? Cats love to sleep in window in the sun.

Mine has a schedule. He knows when it should be bed time, breakfast time and time for me to let him out on the sun porch. He follows a routine daily.

The only way you can break their schedule is by opening a can of food. They'll come running hoping to get something to eat.

Yes. Mine licks me on the face when its time to eat breakfast. She sit at the door when I come home. Just like clock-work.

Yes, I believe this with everything I know. Wilbur and Kona knew when I came home from work. And Wilbur knew when my legs hurt. i miss them.

Their daily schedule is on the 'fridge door, so the family won't worry.
