does the 1gb ipod have the sam quality that the others have , besides the number of songs you can put on them??

The 1GB iPod Nano is the first generation.The first generation's battery doesn't last as long as the second generation.They come in different colors.The second generation has a brighter screen and scratches less easily so it's more durable.The second generation is slightly smaller than the first generation and if you want to buy the second generation iPod Nano,you have to buy at least 2GB because second generation doesn't come in 1GB.

yes though the 1 gb ipod is first generation which they don't make anymore and the 2nd generation ipod nanos have the new feature search but other than that pretty much the same. o and the new 2 nd generations ipod nanos are a bit smaller and scratch not as bad as the first 1 st generation ipod nano's

I am assuming you mean the iPod Shuffle, but it doesn't matter as they all have the same audio quality.
HOWEVER, the old iPod generations had different earbuds which are not as good quality as the new ones. To make sure you have the newest generation of whatever iPod you decide to get, buy it direct from http://www.apple.com/
