ok, my fingernails always have dirt under them, yes I take showers, yes I wash my hands, is there any way to keep them dirt free, to me when I see people with dirt under their finger nails I see them as dirty people so when I see I have dirt under mine I freak and look for something small and pointy to get the dirt out any suggestions

This will sound strange to you... Get a nail brush.. put tide laundry soap on it. and then scrub under your nails with the brush.. I am a printer and my nails get alot of ink in them and I hate that.. the only thing that has taken everything out and make them clean looking is the tide.. It will get the dirt out in the short run.. Give it a try.. and also.. i agree with some of the others answers.. have a nail clipper with the little scrapper built in with you to get it out..

Use a nail brush with some hand wash to wash your nails and get rid of dirt in your nails.

Keep your nails short & filed - get some orange sticks (in the nail polish area) and use them to scrap the dirt out. You can use the rounded ends to push back your cuticles.

You could use a fingernail brush. It gets the dirt out. I believe stores sell them by the nail clippers, or maybe by loofas, sponges, etc.

When you wash your hands, make sure you clean under your fingernails. I've never had to get a special fingernail brush or anything... just rub them with soap and rinse well.

Usually in a manicure kit they have a tool for clearing dirt. I dont know what its called tho. Oh and you may want to try clipping your nails?
