Is it the biggest curse of the human being... to never be able to fully take back what you have said and what you have done?

What we do stays forever in our past. We can't go back in time to undo our mistakes or take back foolish things we have said or done. Every second that we use in our lives, never comes back.
This also serves to give more meaning to everything we do.

Is this both the biggest curse and the biggest blessing of human existance?

"Your past is a ghost that constantly chases you, from the moment it exists until you exist no more."

The past is not real, it is a memory. We can and do choose memories. The past is no more real than the future. Be the person you want to be and you will no longer be haunted by previous error. The present is all that there is. Be, Now.

The biggest blessing and also curse of the human being is the "free will." We can choose what to think, how to act, etc. and when we make mistakes we suffer consequences. Yet, no-one can even imagine being without free will.

I don't believe this. A man can confront his errors of the past, but this is outside the concept of philosophy. What you do in the past haunts today because no change has been made, therefore you are the same person doing to others the same thing, getting the same results. " A man killed his parents as a child, and was put in a detention center. He got out got married and lived a normal life, his sister in law was being beaten by her husband, so he got out the trusty shotgun went to his house and killed him while the sister was away." He never change. His past came back to life, because inside him that little boy never was changed. There is a way to change, you just have to have faith that HE can do all things.

The biggest blessing is to be able to ask forgivness if we have wronged someone and to tell them that we made a mistake.

The biggest curse is that we have to kill off the plants and animals in order to survive. The plants are not so big an issue (unless it's the rain forest) but killing animals is unforgivable. The fact that we kill both other humans, if our government tells us to, and animals for our survival is to me disgusting and the biggest curse.

My old teacher used to say-- It`s not what goes into your mouth that counts, it`s what comes out of it.

Thinking of this from the point of view of the Law of Attraction will help. What one says is a thought or thoughts with extra focus and therefore extra energy (which is eternal). Fortunately the law is mechanical. You CAN take it back. Think and state the new one. You are free to choose. Since that thought energy is mathematical or algebraic, it will balance out, cancel itself out as far as your being (including physical body) is concerned. Amen!
Others can do the same, so what`s this curse idea. They also have the freedom of choice.

The biggest blessing of the human being is the ability to transcend our position. The biggest curse is the inability to remember our position.

Pharmaceuticals have developed a drug that can, with the assistance of psychology, erase bad memories. It turns out that not even something which haunts us forever is immune to technology.
