There was a show on TV in the 80's (I believe, maybe early 90's?) and I think it was on Nickelodeon, or some other children's channel. ANYWAY, in the show, was a mannequin, who would come to life sometimes and talk, and there was a talking mouse (a puppet) and a woman on the show. I can't remember much else about the TV show, just the talking mannequin and the mouse.

Anyone know what the TV show was?

it was a canadian show called today's special. it was set in a department store and at night the ladie who did the displays (jodie) would work nights and hang out with jeff (the mannequin who came to life), muffy the mouse, and sam the night watchman. The man who played jeff is played by Jeff Hyslop, who's a famous Canadian theatre actor and a choreographer. Every episode Jeff would learn something new and so would the kids watching. My favourite was when they learned about monarch butterflies!
Thanks for reminding me of this show. I'm 30 now but it was my fav when i was a kid!

Oh man! ever since I answered this question I can't get the theme song for this show out of my head! and I haven't watched it since about 12 years ago when my kid was three.
