Whenever they get mad at someone they start making comments towards the person being poor or not having lots of money calling them "trash" and "hoodrats".Why do they always make a go for those kinds of insults?

Not all most of the time they are too busy to bother with that stuff..... But their children have a habit at times of expressing those ideas. The kids don't have to work for it .

They judge a man's success by how much money he has and if someone doesn't have as much then they feel it is okay to make fun of them and put them down.
Thank goodness on judgement day God won't judge by how much money we have but by how much we help others.
Or by our fancy car but by the times we gave others a ride.
Or by our house but by how many times we helped others to get their own house. they are having their reward in full in this life.
But few rich people can enter the kingdom of god. The bible says.

If their god is money, they will always treat the poor with contempt. But not all rich peoples are money worshippers.
