Ok I'm from California and i know in every California state university you must at least have a 3.0 GPA. I am currently at CSUB and i had to have 3.0. Now For the University of California schools (UC), that a whole different story. you must check with them because they have extra requirements aside from just your GPA! It looks like the one your applying to is like a UC so you might want to call the admissions office and they will be more than happy to answer all your questions!

Really, you just apply and see what happens.

If you do need to go to a community college first, the CC's counselor will help you do what you need to do to transfer. Typically, it takes 2 years.
