He's a good (not a great) coach. He is the type of coach that will get you to the playoffs, but will never in a million years guide you to the Bowl (Let alone win it). He is a great puppet coach, so Jerry will have complete control.
I am a Buffalo Bills fan -- he's the last coach to get us to the playoffs, but we were glad when he was fired. In the 2000 season, even though we were mathematically still alive to make the playoffs this goof gives a "pep talk" telling his players that the season was over... and if memory serves me it was right before a crucial Colt game (which we lost), and had we have won the rest of the games, would have made the playoffs, but knowing Wade it would have been moot; because we would have been tossed in the first round anyways... have fun with him 'Boys fans.

What are you talking about bro??? Im sorry... but do you know football? The Texans "are who we thought they were!" Be happy they are over 500% and there is still a lot of football to be played. The Colts and the Titans are both better and more talented on paper than the Texans. Granted, they have an awsome young team that will no doubt make them a top contender EVENTUALLY. This is the rebuilding year, if they make it to the playoffs it will only serve as experience. They will do nothing in the playoffs this year. Next year however, they will definitely clinch a playoff spot and might do some damage after. I just think your overeacting. Matt Schaub is the only reason your winning this year. Give the team some time to mold into a "Great" team.

I don't know how good of a HC he'll be but I agree with the reasoning provided (they've got a OC in garrett and Norv Turner was a OC who as a HC likes to call his own plays ----yet Jones wants Garrett to get expierence and eventually be the HC --so that would be counterproductive--and Wade will probably be more easily manipulated by Jones --as we all know he likes running the show -- and can eventually get canned for Garrett --plus it doesn't hurt he knows the 3-4 very well. (Everyone was saying Ron Rivera would have been better but he even said that he would not accept unless he could implement the 4-3)

No, not enough experience and could fail because of it. I said Mike Martz. He coached the Rams to a Super Bowl, and now he's just an offensive coordinator for the Lions

it's obvious as a cowboys fan that jerry jones just appointed himself head coach through phillips. personally it doesn't bother me. he's made bold moves, he's made bad moves, but he's won superbowls.
