Well...
One group (Conservative) says: "government should strive to leave us alone whenever possible."
The other group (Liberal) says: "government should strive to improve our lives whenever possible."
Now which of these two do you think is more likely to be intolerant of the status quo?
Edit:
I find it very interesting how this Q, now posted (verbatim) a second time, hasn't yet received the liberal "thumbs down assault" that the first posting did. Looking a little closer, one finds that "Jez" (who starred the first post) proudly takes credit for "causing trouble" with her "who me?" posting on her blog followed by a link to the first Q. (see below).
Did liberal bloggers hit the hot link to the Q. and then launch a thumbs-down bombs away campaign?
The irony is that this kind of activity simply confirms the opinion that liberals are more intolerant...proud of their ability to engage in non-civil discourse (if not outright disruption and interference).
See how long it'll be before their hate-squad discovers this second posting of the Q and tries to play their childish games again.
This is why the thumbs-up / thumbs-down system here is meaningless.

Liberals (i.e. leftists). The right are certainly intolerant, too, but they are honest about it, at least. The liberals use a "let's all love each other and get along" mentality to mask their real feelings. More often than not, they use minorities and the poor as pawns for re-election without actually doing anything useful for them. And they are very intolerant of people who disagree with them...very afraid of differing opinions, it seems like.
I should say that I do not belong to either side.

Liberals - They are insisting on having one sided education and indoctrinating kids into their way of thinking. I believe true education is to teach reasoning and logic and let them study out all the options of any given issue. Liberals also run the media and have continually shoved anti-Christian propaganda down our throats. It's like the WW2 Nazi films depicting the Jews as sewer rats and other undesirable creatures. Try being a Christian in this society and you'll see how much hatred there is.

Definitely the libs. I can't stand that hypocrite Rush Limbaugh, but he hit the nail right on the head when he said that the definition of a "bigot" is someone who wins an argument with a liberal. Liberals sure are quick to pull out that word when they get nailed, aren't they?
For a group that preaches "tolerance," liberals practice very little.

Moderates on either side. Liberals, however, seem much more negative and especially hateful. I have been so surprised at that since I always considered them about peace and love. Apparently, that's only for those who agree with them.

Negativity in this case is in the eye of the beholder. One may believe, through morals and upbringing, certain things are wrong. Take abortion, liberals are all for it pro choice lets go! Conservatives are against because well heh you screwed up take the consequences. But Conservatives... tend to want to keep things the way they were... so they'd be okay with slavery (okay dumb example but... couldnt think of anything else)

Conservatives, specifically the conservative Christians who are the least Christian people on the face of this earth. Either you believe the way they do or you are damned to hell.

hard to say but conservatives seem to have better control of the media so when they have someone spread hateful and negative things they get heard by a wider range of people.

They all are, it just depends upon the issue... One likes telling people what to do; and one likes doing it, but telling you not to...

the Cons are the most hateful, but it would be a mistake to conclude that the Libs are very tolerant. Especially this big idiot of Kerry...
