Simple answer. Where do you live?
Here are the options
Check your yellow pages for the nearest dive shop to you.

Go online to search for one near you, just type in scuba + town name or nearest city i.e. Calgary, Red Deer, Edmonton.

Check with your university, they often have scuba programs that are well priced and work around your schedule.

All dive training agencies including PADI, NAUI,SSI,SDI/TDI etc will have web pages which list their affiliate training centers or have contact information.... Check out

PADI @ http://www.padi.com/padi/default.aspx...
NAUI @ http://www.nauiww.org/
SDI @ http://www.tdisdi.com/

If you cannot find a dive shop with all this then there is neither one within 1000 kms of you.

P.S.
I got certified through a PADI course in Winnipeg Manitoba.

Check your Internet for certified swimming and scuba diving instructors near you. I live in Texas and I don't know anything about Canada, but the instructor and the installation must both be currently certified in the USA. Write the nearest universities that offer majors in Marine Biology and ask for advice. Scuba diving is a very exacting sport and tragedies do happen even with the best of teachers under the best of circumstances! That is why you want the very best programs and instructors possible.

surely, the colour absorption learn is a surprisingly good one. Captain Don Stewart released commercial vacationer SCUBA diving around Bonaire (she would be in a position to envision all approximately him; he replaced into an extremely colourful character). This replaced into back at a time whilst divers did no longer use gauges. No stress gauge, no intensity gauge (!) What Don Stewart did replaced into tie merely somewhat pink ribbon directly to divers. The education replaced into: whilst the ribbon seems black, do no longer bypass any deeper. it would be interesting on your daughter to evaluate obvious coloration of a pink ribbon to surely intensity as pronounced via her gauge.

Check your local YMCA. They certify divers using Navy dive tables.
