my cousin is married to a guy that is selfish and cheats on her. she just lost her dad and he wasnt even there by her side didnt even show his respect to her mother. i tried telling her but she makes excuses for him and for his actions. how can i get through to her?

You won't. She will just label you as jealous or mean and boot you instead of him. The best thing you can do is be there for her. Listen to her. Pray for her.

I think I'm in her shoes now - she knows deep down - she's just afraid of what's to come - I have 2 kids to think about - we've already separated once for 2 months & he came crawling back - now he's up to his old tricks & I'm sure he's cheating but I'm just waiting until I've had enough - she will too!!

Trust me you can't! She has to realize it for herself, they tend to be hard headed when it comes down with these loser guys! No matter how much you tell her trust me she won't listen! Just let it go and hopefully she will realize for herself and learn a lesson! All you can do is be there for her when she needs you!

You can support her. She is going to have to see things for herself. She probably isn't ready to deal with this emotionally just yet. Best thing you can do is tell her that you'll support her in her decisions and watch her back.

you can't. support her. trust me. i'm just like your friend. she is lucky to have a friend like you who cares enough about her. I wish I had that during this time. Stay by her side.

you can't. she has to learn this on her own. be there to support her when she gets the strength to leave him.
