how do you determine the economic strength of a city?

I need to rank the following cities from their economic strength for my research project....
Newyork, London, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, singapore...
plz provide ur reason also if possible... thx!!!

using different economic indicators,
GDP, foreign investments, employment, inflation and many more
rank the countries using each of the indicators. assign points to the countries according to their rankings for each indicator and tabulate the points.

the one with the highest or lowest (depending on how you give out points) score will be your winner!

it's kind of a world organisation keeping track of different indicators

Go to Moodys Investors Service, Standard & Poors and look to see what their credit rating is for borrowing funds. You can go to the sites on the internet and find a phone number for both in NY. The Operator will direct you to the appropriate analyst. The report will show you how the agency came up with the rating.
