How can anyone think abortion is wrong?

How can anyone think abortion is wrong and should be legal when all of the facts point to the "thing in the womb" is human? At the end of Roe v Wade the Supreme Court Justices came out with a statement stating, "If, at any stage of pregnancy, It can be proved the the thing inside a womans womb is human, we would rule abortion illegal." That was in the 70's. It has been proved human 7 minutes after conception yet since roe v wade, 50 million unborn CHILDREN have been aborted. Also, if you didnt know, people who murder a pregnant woman are charged with TWO counts of MURDER.

It's totally ridiculous...I bet if a pregnant woman were murdered on her way to an abortion the law would say it was the murder of two people, but if she made it to the clinic and wasn't murdered...it's perfectly legal...CRAZY

First of all, Obama is not PRO ABORTION!! He's Pro Choice - which gives the woman a right to do whatever she wants with HER body, no one elses. If a teenager is raped in the parking lot after leaving her job at the foodcourt in the mall, why should she still have the baby when she probably won't be able to afford it anyway? Also, what if the woman's life is on the line being that having a baby is a health risk for them? In the case that it would be unhealthy for the woman, it should proceed. Also, a fetus does NOT have nerves yet. It does not feel anything. It is NOT a baby. It's basically a living organism without nerves. Also, why is it ok for us to go invade a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 and kill over 200,000 innocent civilians (including children) but abortion is such a terrible thing?? If the "THING" has a heartbeat.. wouldn't that mean it is a living being? Abortion is wrong! Roe v Wade should be thrown out, since now there are many things to prove that it is human. That should have never been stated. It is pretty obivous that it is human since that is how we are all here today. I have not seen many people delivering pets. . if you know what I mean. So how can that statement stand? I do not believe in abortion and may never understand why people do it, without a good cause. Rape and incest are probable cause for an abortion. But I believe that it has to be proven before that fact. If you lose the baby before 20wks it is a miscarriage and after wards you will have a death certificate and possible funeral. So why is it people think about aborting after 20 wks as well. By then the child even looks like a baby and all the features are very clear. This subject just drives me mad.

That "thing in the womb" is a child once the heart starts to beat regardless of what anyone says,how come when abortion takes hold u can clearly see fingers,toes,eyes,ears,genitalia,mouth etc?
those are all human characteristics...The way they abort these babies is soo cruel,tearing body parts off,twisting legs and arms off,crushing the babys head,poinsoning in the womb etc..its horrible and inhumane and needs to be illegal from the time u get a positive on a pregnancy test....

I could never have an abotion regardless of anything and think any woman that goes through it thinks of it as a easy birth control method...

Well, your question & your argument are opposite. Did you mean to say "How can anyone think abortion is NOT wrong?"

I don't understand how they can be charged with 2 counts of murder either or if someone kills an unborn child in a car accident they are charged with reckless homicide, even if the mother survives. I'm against abortion! Anyone that can have an abortion after reading exactly what happens & seeing aborted babies, then I think they're cold hearted. More people need to be completely educated on it.

the baby has a heart beat 3 weeks after conception which is before the woman even knows she is pregnant. Yes, it is wrong no matter how you look at it. It is a human growing inside you. At 10 weeks all of its body parts are formed and at 13 weeks its organs are formed completely. How could it be anything less than a living being? The reason they can't outlaw it is because people have put up such a fuss about woman's rights. And it is their bodies and so forth. Well to me, if you got pregnant - deal with it and give it up for adoption if you have too. We are forgetting the babies rights and what they would say if they could.

But either way, Its been scientifically proven that an unborn baby CAN feel pain. So when theyre being murdered, or as some like to call it, "aborted" they're feeling every second of that. I think its sick that the same people who will protest you eating a hamburger, are perfectly fine with killing unborn babies. Why is it that a victim is only a victim when they have a voice?

It makes me sick that so many GOOD parents are trying to get pregnant but nothing happens, and all these people get pregnant every other second, and kill their babies, because its "their right". Im all for equal rights. How about equal rights of the baby? Its scary to think that these same people who think its fine to kill unborn babies, are able to ever become parents. If its okay to murder them before they take their first breath, why not after? What changes then?. People need to wise up and do their research. We're not talking about womens rights here, we're talking about murdering innocent babies, because its "our choice" ....Since when do we get to choose to kill people, just because they cant protest yet?

Abortion is soooo wrong! The baby didn't ask to be conceived and then you take it's life away? Now that baby (Yes, to all those who like abortion, the fetus IS a baby) will not get to experience life at all. Now all those who like abortion will argue that the mother shouldn't have to go through pregnancy if she doesn't want the baby. ADOPTION! Think about this- "If you can't to the time, don't do the crime!" All these teens that have abortions think it's not their fault that they are pregnant- IT IS THEIR FAULT! STOP HAVING SEX! Please don't screech "Oh what if she was raped??!". Only a small percentage people are pregnant from being raped and if you were the child in the mother's stomach, wouldn't you want the chance to live? In my eyes, the baby comes first, no matter what. I don't care if you give the baby away the minute it comes out- just don't kill it.

Roe is bad law, it should be up to the states. Im against it the same reason im against eating animals, all life should be valued. There are so many ways to prevent pregnacy to begin with, if u create something u should take to responiblity. Besides men have no choice in becoming a parent, if the women keeps it and the man dosnt want it, he still has to pay 4 it and stuff. But if a women dosnt want it she can just throw it away.
