I was in labor for 22 hours after my water broke but only had to push for half and hour.

I was in labor for 16 1/2 hours with my first but with my second because I was induced I was in labor for only 6 1/2 hours

My first contraction was at 2:15 AM. Didn't go to the hospital until 11:00 AM. Got that damn epidural, which pretty much stopped my labor. Finally delivered at 7:46 PM That comes to 17 hours and 31 minutes.

My sister just gave birth very early saturday morning and she was in labor from 730 am to 1206 am the following day.
That's like 17 hours!!!!
Well lets see, they admitted her and she started having contractions at 730, her water broke around 230 or 300 so when would labor actually start?

First of all, I failed to go into labor on my own, and was induced at 42 weeks pregnant. I was given Petocin and they broke my water for me. I labored for 24 hours and only got to 5 cm and stopped. It was then that I decided I couldn't take any more, and opted to have a c-section. It was horrible. But the little love of my life was brought into the world that night, and the pain was all forgotten. Now am pregnant with his brother and scheduled to have a c-section on april16.

Four long days. I was also in labor 4 long days with the second, but with the third it was less than 12 hours.

I knew I was in labor at 5:30 am really easy contractions all day got serious around 3:30 went to Hosp. at 5pm baby at 7:45
#2 woke up at 6:30 left house at 8:30 got to hosp. at 9am baby at 9:18 am
# 3 started induction at 6:30am baby at 9:45am

Water broke at 11:30pm, labor started 1:30am, went to hospital 4:30am, she was born 7:30am. So labor lasted around 6 hours, which was very lucky.
