While I can't tell you where and when you can get a Wii, I can tell you to use the itrackr website. It displays the inventories of popular retail stores in your city for specific items like the Wii, a lot easier than calling all of them to check.

E-mail from Nintendo people to me:

"We're shipping Wii systems and Nintendo DS Lite systems to retailers
every day. However, we ship the system to the store's warehouses, not to
the stores directly. When they receive a shipment from they, they will
break it up into individual shipments to go to each store. They don't
share information about quantities or when those shipments will appear
in stores. For this reason, I can only recommend that you keep in
close contact with the stores for information about availability."

You can get a Wii family pack from EB games. They're selling them now for release on Feb. 28th.

the wii is fricken awsome....
i got mine using this site..it shows u when and where in your area stores will be getting shipments of the wii..
