I have Kaspersky on...but there is a worm threat alarm that tells me this blah blah worm is trying to get into your computer...it is always the same thing..what can I do about it?should I really care or not?

If Kaspersky told you about it, then it also blocked it, and you're safe.

Other infected computers on the net are constantly searching for machines to infect and spread the virus. Only vulnerable machines that contain the flaw that the virus uses to get into your PC will be affected.

You can sleep easy!

If you are running Windows XP, then you should download the SP2. It includes a free firewall, which should keep intruders OUT!

well you can always roll back your pc

start>all programs>accessories>system tools>sytem restore

it will set back all settings and downloads to a specific date and may get rid of whatever you have - worked for me before.

log off and reboot your pc, that will change your ip address, hopefully the attacker wont be able to find you then

Tighten up your firewall now! If possible Stealth your machine.
