Only an old lady - who was stuck on the side of the highway with a flat tyre a few weeks back. Nothing heroic though

Once when I was 13 an old lady fell down some escalators, she kept tumbling on her head over an over because the escalators were still on and she was too frail to stop herself falling.

I ran over and pressed the button stop her before she did too much damage, she was cut up and bruised pretty bad, then the shop assistants pushed me out of the way to get to her, they were horrid and rude and treated me like I was a nuisance because the elevator had stopped.

Not exactly heroic adventures but a rescue nonetheless!

Do frogs count? Not the fairytale type - didn't kiss as I'd watched him hop across patio and thought "He'd never jump into the one 6"x6" danger spot - de drain - would he?" as he shpring-shpronged himself directly into the drain.

45-minute-TV-movie-rescue-scenario ensued due to 90 degree bend in drain, and froggie finally hurdled out with help of mother-in-law's soup ladle (sorry N sorry Tutu).

Hubbie 3,000 miles away at time but dispatched on another journey to B & Q on return.

I once rescued a cat that was stuck on a roof by using a ladder. The cat was happy to be on the ground again.
