I've never got best answer so I wouldn't know. I feel like I deserve some sort of retribution for giving them out though.

I always comment and say thank you, I do feel bad sometimes if they don't have that many points and still give me 10 of them.

I always thank them if they allow e-mail.
If they have a 360 and allow comments I sometimes stop and say hello.
