We have never really celebrated Valentines day, and this year we are saving up for a vacation this summer. I have done stuff in the past such as had an indoor picnic with candles, and romantic music, I made her a movie in the past etc., and want to do something memorable, but am not allowed to spend money (well not a lot of money). Ideas please!!!

My husband and I don't really celebrate Valentines day either. It's really the everyday respect and love that should be celebrated. Maybe a day just for her-cook or call in dinner, run her a nice hot bath and maybe some flower with a brochure reminding her of the great vacation coming up

Mike,
GOD mad marriage between a man and a woman to be special. Make the evening very special for her. I would rent a movie that she might enjoy then build/set up a small set from whatever you have available in the house to go with a part of the movie. You might also get some nice snacks and soft drinks. Send the kids out for the night and have fun with her. Treat her as special as she must be to you!! Have a great evening.

Cheap bottle of (Wildvines Strawberry White Zinfidel) cost like 3.45 dollars and cook a nice homemade meal. Clean the bathroom and bedroom long before she eat and draw up a bath and buy some roses which cost like 6.00 bucks and use some bubble bath and use the pedals to line the bubbles and on the bed. Then just message her and kiss her and if she feels tired thats okay let her go to sleep and then later have sex!

Do something fun together that doesn't cost much. Find out what some of those things might be in your area.

Go to a scenic look-out somewhere and reminisce.

Go to the Sonic and have a milkshake.

Go to a public park and push her in the swing. Walk hand-in-hand around the park and and just enjoy one another's presence.

Go to the zoo,if one is open in your area.

And the list goes on and on.

When you get right down to it, what can you give someone greater than a hunk of you spelled T-I-M-E, which of course includes your undivided attention.

This is much more difficult to give than a present.

Make her a card, draw a nice bubble bath with candles, wine on the side, give her a red rose and a thank you for everything she has done for you and your relationship. Tell her how special she is to you. It's really the simple things that always get overlooked.

Make her a romantic cd of your favorite love songs. Give her a single red rose and a card with a personal love message from you. Offer her a full body massage and don't get distracted.

Single rose. Cheque book with offers of doing things for her. Or a poem.

Let her go out on a date with her boyfriend...you know, the guy who thinks ahead and plans for the two of them rather than asking a whole bunch of strangers.
