When males are chatting in online chat rooms, do you think they are more aggressive when they are debating? Or do you think that females become more aggressive, standing by their opinions and holding strong and not taking crap from anyone?

I've seen a lot of boys "fighting" in chat rooms, not so many girls. Personally, I think it's a waste of time. "Wow, you're a badass, you got in an online fight" is what comes to my mind.
As far as opinions, I think it's equal.

I think males get more aggressive in chat rooms because they don't have the physical factor to help them, when in person they use their physical attributes to try to subdue the counterpart, when in a chat room they can't rely on that and hence start getting verbally more aggressive.

I think males are just as aggressive as they always were. Females pull out there aggressive side because they are sitting behind a computer and they are more confident

I have known some really immature females take words and turn them around and think they were sarcastic and get offended, they were not even sarcastic. I have long since gone into any chatrooms because I am in nobody's clique, not do I want to be. =)

I think that females are much more aggressive. You described it perfectly, they won't take crap from anyone. Especially guys who think it's funny to call them a whore.

I think woen are more aggressive. I think its the fact that most women feel safer being able to argue from a distance or anonimously than in person so they say whatever it is they have to say

Females tend to make an assumption about what you are actually thinking and remark on it. Males say you are a dumbass, and everyone knows they're a dumbass in one way or another. Females=more frustration.

Gals are more likely to get offended and hold a grudge. I'm more scared of talking with other females.

i think females become more aggresive, most females arent afaid to speak their opinions and stand by what they believe in

I don't know and don't care! I don't chat, there are no many freaks on the internet so i stay away from those things!
