There are a number of possibilities," Perper said, including natural causes, a drug reaction or some combination of causes.
Perper said there was no indication of blunt-force trauma, asphyxiation or other physical trauma.
He said Smith had a small bruise on her back, which probably resulted from a fall in the bathtub earlier in the week.
The medical examiner said his office is awaiting results of toxicological and other tests, but there were no drugs in Smith's stomach.
He said if she had taken a large number of pills, some of the medicine would have remained in the stomach.
There also was no evidence of long-term drug abuse, Perper said.
Tiger said no evidence suggests a crime occurred and all witnesses were cooperating with the investigation.
He said police were still analyzing surveillance tapes from the hotel, but so far had seen nothing unusual.

I believe the outcome will be heart failure do to a combination of extreme changes in weight, drugs, alcohol, and stress.

Its could be overdosed or suicide. She has been depressed for a long time after her sons death.
But how could she kill hersetf she had a daughter to look after for. Now, The baby is going to be use for her money.
Im not a really big fan but it is a big shocked.
Well, Im going to follow it up when they find out what happened to her. It could be months to find out. They still working on her sons case.

Official word was Cardiac Arrest, but an autospy is scheduled to determine a cause of her death. But I think that she died of a broken heart due to the recent death of her 20-year-old Daniel. I don't think she ever did well to get over his death.

I dunno for sure. I wanted to say suicide from Daniels death, but no one would leave a 5 month old baby behind on purpose.
i think people on yahoo answers are being so rude. (NOT YOU) Yea, I DO feel bad she died, Yea it was a shock to me, and Yea I do care about your average joe that dies when they show them on tv!!! Why are people rude!? Some people have drug/alcohol problems, does that mean they should die!?? Have some respect!!!
