This is strictly a name change. They've been part of the same company for a couple years now. I don't think hardly anyone is on an original AT&T plan (Cingular Blue). Only people who haven't upgraded their phone in years could still have the grandfathered rate plans. I'd imagine their original terms and conditions stick until they migrate to a new AT&T plan. It's a moot point since when Cingular and AT&T first merged you could use your mobile to mobile minutes to talk between AT&T (Cingular Blue) and Cingular Orange.

Yes cingular is changing back to AT&T. Go to their website for all of the details.

yes they are, not to att wireless like what happened in 2005, but the real att, the big one that is known all over the world. and att people could have called cingular people free for the past 2 years.

yes, i don't like it either, i loved that little orange guy, they are getting rid of him. so sad. :(
