Does anyone actually believe that WWE wresting is for real?

It's fake in the sense that they don't actually fight each other or attack each other or that the matches are orchestrated to some extent and planned. But, I always use to assume that pro wrestling was basically shadow boxing, but it isn't necessarily. There actually is some contact with strikes, but the wrestlers know how to hold them or not really "hit" in the sense where they would hurt the wrestler. For example, you ever see wrestlers chop each other in the chest, that noise isn't faked. Whereas other times they stomp or use other ways of making impact noises, the smack sound is real. I know what real chops sound like, and I have seen matches where the wrestlers chest become red. I have been smack on my back, and you will have a red mark. The wrestlers obviously know what they are doing. They apply some pressure with holds, but obvious know the right amount. The wrestlers know how to pick up other wrestlers and slam them, and the wrestlers who get slammed know how to fall right. So even though the mat is not hard, I would say the amount of times wrestlers are constantly landing would have to not feel to great. As some wrestlers has said before, wrestling is definitely fixed, but you can't fake gravity. Wrestlers use props, and tables that are fixed in a way to break with impact, but even with the wrestler's falling right and this, it still is quite a bump. These are all done to not cause injury or hurt the wrestlers , of course, but at the same time. I think wrestling is more physical than some people think, and wrestlers are pretty tough for performing so many nights per week without an offseason with all this pounding.

Be carefull how you phrase that. It is very much real, by that I mean that it takes a great deal pf conditioning and the wrestlers have to absorb a great deal of pain on a daily basis. Just because I know that you are throwing me through a table does NOT make the table made of pillowy softness when I go through it. Some of the matches are scripted...however very RARELY are they rehearsed. Every wrestler has a set move vocabulary that they know, and a series of moves (usually 5-6 spots) are called during a rest point in the match.
So to answer your question...scripted yes. Real, ABSOLUTELY

I read an article about it last year about it's structure. Apparently, as it is all scripted and rehearsed the promoters have to have an entertainment licence instead of a sports licence for it's shows.

For the most part WWE is fake.Same of the moves are set up not to hurt.But there are some moves that can't be faked like a shooting star press.It just depends on what im watching that makes it fake or not but the most part WWE is fake.

It is scripted who is gonna win but, some of it is also real. like have you noticed how the wrestler has to do something stupid, Right when he or she is about to win, and the other person gets it.

haha nope i know people who believe its real and wrestle in school and cant figure out why they cant do what they see on tv, i mean if you watch all of it is props, and fake blood lies and fake winnings how could you believe that stuff, or like it?
