Ok, first off, how much is the MAC OS Tiger or whatever?

Now, I bought a PC, a Sony PCVRS-420 that came with Windows XP. Can I put MAC OS on this computer? Or do I HAVE to buy a MAC to have the OS? Or how does that work? Just curious how that would go, what I would have to change, do, or whatever.

Well...The only reason I want the MAC OS is for the video editing software. The ones I want on PC are anywhere from 300-1000$. And Mac does all that, and the OS is only 120$.

well I found an emulator that allows you to run MAC in your windows. You run the image, from what it looks like the MAC OS runs in a windows, but you need the MAC OS disk still, it just won't be the actual OS on the PC.

MAC has been installed on PCs. If you do a web search you will find a few forums discussing how to do it. It is very complicated and something that requires alot of time to make work.

If you want MAC OS you really should buy a pre-configured MAC. While it is possible to install MAC on a PC, it is something only knowledgeable people with lots of spare time have been able to do.

You cannot put OS X on a PC - if you want to run them on the same computer you will need an Intel Mac and that will boot both OS's - but OS X is rubbish anyway - Macs are dead long live the PC
